• This franchise group had an interesting start-up history- the owner went out with a fellow student at University but she refused to accompany him in his car if his car was dirty.
• He looked for a car wash in his town, but couldn’t find one so he started his first manual car wash in that town.
• From such a humble beginning, he has grown the business with 20 existing car washes and adding more monthly.
• He has presence in SA, Botswana, Zambia etc.
• The format of the car washes differs (structures/machines etc.), as the premises layout differ (some are in shopping centres, some loose standing).
• The owner now wants to expand rapidly into the Western Cape, and is looking for franchisees to join him on this exciting venture.
• The owner has also concluded a deal with an overseas company, whereby he has sole right to import their fully automated machines and distribute it into Africa. These machines will be a first for SA as it has 14 brushes and can clean 60 cars per hour.
