NAMIBIA MASTER TERRITORY FRANCHISEE:

The Main Franchisor in SA, is looking to secure a Master Territory Franchisee for their brand for Namibia, and for this franchisee to assist them to develop and grow the brand and network throughout the territory and share in the substantial profits within the Franchisor company.

The cost for this business opportunity is only NAD 2 000 000.00 ex-VAT, which is broken up into two purchases.

• A fully fledged turnkey flagship store with all shop fitting, signage, POS system, staff uniforms, marketing material, on-site training, washers, dryers, commercial ironing stations and an Italclean Liberty 200 Dry Cleaning Machine.
• Exclusive franchise territory rights of the brand and network for a 20 x year period in Namibia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND OPPORTUNITIES:

• The Master Territory Franchisee will in effect be the brand ambassador and franchise sales agent for the territory.
• The Master Territory Franchisee can open and operate their own company stores and/or establish new franchises throughout the territory or a combination thereof.
• All franchise sales leads for the territory at HO will be forwarded to the Master Territory Franchisee to follow up and finalize. The head office will also assist with this function during visits to the territory.
• The Master Territory Franchisee will derive revenue from their own stores turnover, and receiving 50% of all franchise joining fees and 50% of monthly franchise fees from other outlets in Namibia.
• Ongoing operational business support will be carried out by the Head Office staff.
• The Master Territory Franchisee can also approve new site selection for new or relocation franchises with the support of Head Office.
• The Franchisor and the Master Territory Franchisee will draft a development plan for the first 5 x year period, which will target and monitor the initial network growth.

This opportunity is a long term project, and requires the Franchisor and Master Territory Franchisee to be aligned in their business thinking and growth strategy. A strong positive business relationship is required between the parties, with full compliance to the franchise business model a necessity.

FINANCIAL PROJECTIONS/IMPLICATIONS FOR THE MASTER TERRITORY FRANCHISEE:  

• Namibia has seen a steady growth over years, and compared to a growth of 3,5% in 2022, is expecting an economic growth of 4,2% in 2023.
• There are a total of 24 main large towns in Namibia which provides excellent opportunities for opening a franchise laundry in all of these towns.
• Without opening a branch for the Master Territory Franchisee him/herself, if the franchisee receives 50% of any other franchisees opening plus 50% of the monthly other franchisee fees, breakeven can easily be reached if only 8 new franchisees is opened, and from there onwards a 25% ROI can be reached on the initial capital outlay of NAD 2 million.
